PUMA Basket Heart

PUMA Basket Heart Trainers via size? / Zara trousers / ASOS bodysuit / ASOS fishnet socks

Last week I was lucky enough to get to attend the PUMA launch of the Basket Heart down in Shoreditch LDN! I also got a pair of the Basket Hearts, which I was happy about because they sold out pretty quickly on the size? website. There was food and drink, a nail bar, and also a hair braiding station (but I chose to pass on that one and I'm having regrets as who knows if I would've looked cute with braids).

The actual trainers you'll see come with ribbon laces. I personally wouldn't say I am much of a er ribbon kinda gal, but they're actually a v cute touch and they're certainly eye-catching. They're also really comfy, but they do squeak a little because of the patent leather.

(Top photo came from the size? blog and bottom from Highsnob! Peep my mate Jess below as well.)

ASOS Authentic Straight Leg Jeans (think Levi's 501s)

Pull&Bear crop top via ASOS (sold out) / ASOS jeans / ASOS loafers (similar)

So, I really want to show you these jeans that I picked up from ASOS last month. Excuse the lack of face but let's just focus on the jeans rn. They're called "authentic straight leg jeans" on the site and I am in love with them. We're all trying to that Levi's 501 kinda vibe, and seeing as I haven't found my perfect pair of 501s yet I'm happy wearing these for now. I love anything with a wide leg, and these have that wide look but (Imo) remain flattering. Not that I give a shit about "man repelling" but hey, if you give a shit then you're in luck (pls don't give a shit). Styled up with this lovely lil striped crop from Pull&Bear and my ever wonderful silver loafers.

Baby Blue with H&M & Levi's

H&M shirt / Levi's Shorts via Urban Outfitters / ASOS loafers

To be honest I'm actually sick of summer outfits now. I'm ready to retire everything "summery" to a bag underneath my bed and get all of my knitwear out, but the ridiculous Manc weather won't give up. A tropical thunderstorm two days ago, followed by two days of sunshine! I don't have much to say about this outfit beyond the fact that I'm obsessed with loafers at the moment (like everyone) so they're pretty much all I'm wearing, as well as my usual trainers. Also shout out to my nude nails if you can see them. I splurged on a few O.P.I nail polishes and they're the best.

Boohoo Bardot Bodysuit & ASOS Denim

Boohoo bodysuit via ASOS / ASOS denim skirt / Vans Old Skool / Daniel Wellington watch

I bought this skirt in, like, January (?) of this year and I'm only just putting it on my blog. I mean, okay, I've been shit with my blog in 2016 and posted f all, but here it is, in all its glory, and I linked above to the general denim skirts page on ASOS 'cos they have many similar ones. This bodysuit, thankfully, is new-ish and still available (for a FIVER)! I bought it for a night out last month and just to warn, it's quite tight on the arms and will leave anyone without huge boobs looking flat chested, but I still love it. All finished off with my old skools that - excuse the pun - never ever ever get old.

Topshop Pleated Trousers & ASOS Silver Loafers

Topshop crop (sale) / Topshop pleated trousers / ASOS loafers (sold out)

I've had such a big thing about pastel pink for what feels like forever now, and to be honest I don't wear as much pink as I used to! When I saw these pleated trousers though they had to be mine. I bought them for my trip to Bali and they were really great to wear in hot weather because it's such a thin material. The other newbies I have to show off are these bloody AMAZING silver loafers (real leather as well) from ASOS. They sold out very quickly as they are fab copies for the Gucci originals, but you can find really similar ones at Office and I believe Topshop as well.

Notting Hill | Pleated Trousers & Ultra Boost

Missguided crop top / Topshop pleated trousers / adidas Ultra Boost via size? / Daniel Wellington watch / ASOS bag / Ebay sunglasses

I can't believe I haven't posted in my blog in so long... actually, I can believe it, because I've been putting off getting back into it for a while. I'm not really sure why, I guess because it is a lot of effort when it's alongside a full time job? I do love blogging and I know I'll get back into it again.

ANYWAY, so, I turned 23 at the end of July and headed down to London to see some of my favourite people and celebrate etc etc! I hadn't seen my wonderful friend Mae and her boyfriend Jay since my birthday the year before, and when Mae and I get together blog pictures are an absolute must. Mae's the first person who shot me for my blog and she takes the most beautiful pictures a blogger could ask for!

In these shots I'm wearing a crop from Missguided that - you can't see the back unfortunately - ties at the back and so a bra is just not an option. I've given up on wearing bras anyway, but that's a convo for another time. Paired with the amazing Topshop pleated trousers that everyone's loving (and I am not over wide leg culottes and never will be probs). I should mention that it was 30 degrees in London this day, how lucky :) Outfit all finished off with my trusty Ultra Boost that are still looking very white after a year's wear!

I hope you like these photos and I hope I get the chance to post a bit more soon!

SMART CASJ | American Apparel Bodysuit

American Apparel top / Topshop girlfriend jeans / ASOS boots (they're on sale!)

Just over a week ago I was sunning myself in Bali, and now I'm writing this blog post instead. While it was absolute paradise, I came home with a heat rash and a hundred mozzie bites, so for those reasons only I'm (the tiniest bit) happy to be out of the bikini and back in my favourite jeans. If you ever wanted to know what I would wear on a first date, you're looking at it (and this outfit went down a treat btw).

Bye Winter | Mango Silk Bomber

Mango bomber / Topshop jumper / Primark knitted joggers / adidas Stan Smith via Footasylum

I've had this beaauuuuutiful bomber for a few months now and only just got around to styling it up for the blog! I'm kind of kissing goodbye to winter (my favourite season) because I spent my lunch break today wearing a t-shirt in the sun so I think it's time to put the knitted joggers to bed after this post. This bomber sold out pretty fast so I don't know if you can get your hands on it, but a hundred other shops are selling these Acne-like silk dupes so there's hope you can find something similar. Paired everything with my trusty Stans!

Grandad Vibes | Warehouse, Topshop, Reebok

Topshop jumper / Topshop shirt (similar) / Warehouse trousers (sale) / Reebok trainers

Although I took these pictures a week ago I actually wore this outfit to work today! I'm a big fan of grey on grey, especially when one shade is darker/lighter than the other. Now that it's time to put the knitwear away (sob) I picked up this ever-popular jumper from Topshop, the one with the super soft fleecy material. I also have it in pink. These trousers I got in the Warehouse sale just after Christmas. They're wool and when I first wore them they were really itchy and I thought I might have to send them back, but after a go in the wash they no longer scratch my poor dry skin, and so all is good in the world.

White Shirt & Topshop Girlfriend Jeans

Topshop shirt (similar) / Topshop Girlfriend jeans / River Island boots (sold out)

I'm back I'm back I'm back! I hadn't opened the back end of my blog in over a month, oops. To be honest the only thing I've kept up with is Instagram... and I've become a bit of an avid tweeter. Less fashion though, more feminism and going on about how hot Zayn is. The last three months of my life have gone by in a blur! To be honest I've been so busy that I just forgot to blog. I was reading some blogs for work last week (the old 9-5) and I thought, shit, Georgie you love blogging, sort it out. So I dug out my camera and got snapping and now finally I'm ready to get going again.

So first thing to point out really is that I got my hair done. I want to go blonde again, but I also didn't want to ruin my hair so this is the outcome of the first session, and I'll go back in a month or so to have it lightened. I had a balayage (hope that's spelt correctly) done, so my hairdresser painted on the bleach instead of using foils, and I had Olaplex included to reduce damage to my hair. I absolutely LOVE it, and I haven't felt this good about my hair since back when I was blonde.

The outfit you see is one I actually planned to wear on a date but then I decided I'd probably forego jeans for a skirt. Even though where I work is really casual (people turn up in sweatpants, srysly) I can actually see myself wearing this to work. I love how everything's simple up top, classic white shirt and straight blue jeans, jazzed up with these snakeskin boots that I'm not over yet. I hope you like this outfit and I've rambled on enough now I think. Until the next one :)

70s Patchwork Denim & Bell Sleeves

Etsy top (link to seller) / ASOS skirt (similar) / Zara boots (sold out)

I'm not big on the 70s trend that took over last year, but I LOVE patchwork denim and couldn't resist this skirt from ASOS. It's out of stock now but there's a really similar one still on the website. I actually can't wait until spring/summer when I can wear it without tights, potentially on holiday.

Missguided Tie Front Crop Top & Topshop Girlfriend Jeans

Missguided tie crop top / Topshop Girlfriend jeans / Topshop boots

Hello! So an outfit featuring my favourite jeans of the moment, the Topshop Girlfriend jeans. Ankle grazers to be more specific. I am actually all about ankle grazing jeans now, I can't stand when my jeans touch my shoes (unless tucked into boots ofc).

This top from Missguided is beautiful, but it is quite hard to wear. It's tied as tight as it can be and I obviously can't wear a bra with it, so I have to wear nipple covers, but the top reveals my boobs when I move. SO I had to invest in some boob tape to pin the top down! I do love it though, it's a gorgeous top and very cheap.

Hope you like this outfit :)

House of Sunny Purism Shirt

I've been blogging for over two years now, and this outfit is up there as one of my favourites that I've styled! And I would never try and call myself a stylist. I have wanted something from House of Sunny for SO long, and as they're made in London pieces they're more expensive than your standard buy from ASOS or something, so a bit more of an investment. I wanted to pick something that I could wear with anything, so black was a solid choice, and I am crazy about the oversized fit and cut-out back.

The trousers are from the Warehouse sale and you know what, I've never shopped there before, I sort of stumbled on the website looking for grey trousers and I'm a new fan. The Nike trainers.... well I'll go more into them in my next post.

Salt 'n' Pepper Skirt & River Island Snakeskin Boots

Zara t-shirt / Topshop skirt / River Island boots (sold out)

Okay, well, I've had my little month basically off blogging and I'm trying to get back into the regular swing of things. This is a veeerrry girly outfit for me. I am much more comfortable in my culottes and jeans, but I really wanted a grey midi skirt and this Topshop one is so nice. I actually have my eye on another one that's a lighter grey and has a slit down the middle, so I'll have myself a little midi set soon enough. Styled with a basic tee and the most beautiful boots in the world, the sold out RI snakeskin boots that everyone's lusting after.

Leather & Ballet Shoes

Zara faux leather jacket / Weekday t-shirt / ASOS jeans / Topshop ballet pumps / Zara bag

Gahr I am a terrible blogger... blame it on some serious January blues. Everything's looking up now though (Jan is almost over THANK GOD) so I should be back to some more frequent posting! I took these outfit photos a few months ago actually. I thought it was a pretty cute outfit, cutesy hair and slip-ons, toughened up by the leather jacket and bag. Excited to take some more outfit photos, I've got so much lovely new stuff over Christmas eeee.

Zara Tee & ASOS Jumpsuit

Zara t shirt / ASOS jumpsuit / Topshop boots

I've been away from my blog so much recently it feels weird writing up a post! A lot has happened over Christmas and I didn't quite feel like blogging. It's not my job so I can happily come and go as I please I suppose! I've shown this jumpsuit before but it's just amazing for chucking on when you feel like looking like a young child in something too big for them. It's so comfortable and you can let it all hang out. Smartened it up a bit with my lovely Topshop boots.
